A little bit of diapers a little bit of washcloths.....

Recently my sweet friend Vanessa had an all pink everywhere baby shower to celebrate the soon coming entrance of her first baby girl Ava! I made a very different from my norm diaper cake.  My concept for this cake originally was pink and gray Cheetah print but it is everywhere right now so I wanted to stray from that and I noticed Vanessa had washcloths on her registry so I was inspired!! This cake is more washcloths and bath time than Diaper cake, but I loved how it turned out!

Puma... Neon... Awesome

My sister asked me to make her a diaper cake with  no reference to babies.... Yea sounds super easy right?! I was stumped no regular boy colors no animals no baby stuff.. Finally while browsing thru my local Ross it hit me a bright blue and neon yellow and that was it!! 

I added stars because they are child like but also modern and a simple shape it brought a lot to what would have been a very boring and not baby related cake meant for babies.

 It ended up way more awesome than I thought it would be. Hope you agree!!
